Headroom has no servers, no analytics, and no accounts of its own. Nothing about you is sent to the developer or any third party.
The credentials you use to link an account are stored only in your device's Keychain, marked device-only so they are never synced or backed up elsewhere. They are sent only to the provider they belong to (Anthropic, OpenAI, or Cursor) to read your usage.
Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets and the Live Activity read only usage percentages and reset times from a private app group — never your tokens or email.
Tips are processed entirely by Apple through In-App Purchase. Headroom never sees your payment details, and tips are anonymous and optional. The app is fully functional for free.
You can unlink any account or erase all stored data at any time from Settings. Deleting the app also removes everything it stored on your device.
